About me and my friends

Hi!  My name is Jasmine, and I am currently lucky enough to live on beautiful Salt Spring Island, off the West Coast of Canada.  The awe-inspiring beauty of the nature that surrounds me here is tuly breath-taking; this is a majestic place, deserving of our wonder and appreciation.

I am also lucky enough to have been raised in wonderful Malaysia, home of the magical kingdom of Borneo, one of the world's mega diverse nature areas.  Being a Canadian expat kid, educated in the British International School system, and growing up travelling South East Asia as if it was my very own back yard, I know I have been privileged. 

Whether is was visiting orangutan sanctuaries in Borneo, hiking the mountains in New Zealand, or watching whales from my kayak in British Columbia, nature and its inhabitants have always seemed to be a constant presence in my life.  

And now, all of my friends from nature have teamed up to help me try to give a little bit back: to spread a little bit of positivity and happiness in the world, with some daily motivational whimsey.

What better ambassadors to spread messages of inspiration and motivation, than all of these cute little guys?

In my day job, I work hard in the waste management industry, trying my very best to make a difference in helping people and businesses work their way along the path towards zero waste.  My motivation is easy to see: I live in such incredible beauty, and get to visit all sorts of my friends all the time.

But, to really celebrate and accentuate positivity in the world, my other passion is to spread positive vibes and hopeful messages.  My hope is that our shared project will help bring just a little bit of joy and motivation to anyone who might need a boost.  Young or old, big or small, I hope that everyone will find a little something to smile at!
